Storytelling stroll
Hark, Hark, brave people!
Come closer.
Lend an ear.
You who love tales of yore, those of Perrault and the Brothers Grimm, those of Jules Verne and Andersen.
Did you know that Ysengrin is convinced that if night falls, he’ll catch her before she crashes!
Don’t believe us?
Come closer then
It always begins like this:
Once upon a time…
In traditional folk tales, the wolf is seen as a cruel character who frightens and terrorises his future prey.
But without him, there’d be no stories!
The big bad wolf has a knack for it.
So today, the characters from fairy tales are paying him tribute.
They’ve all gathered round him to celebrate his good nature in fine company.
Kings, Princes, Bourgeois and Villains, to hell with worries and sorrows.
Play the oboes, let the bagpipes ring out.
From the cellar we draw fine wine and from the chest, satin garments.
In the town and along the roads,
Everyone is getting ready for the feast.
In the town and along the roads,
Hurrah! Hurrah! Hurrah! Christmas is tomorrow!
